I'm Nimrah, founder of CAMO. Leather runs in my family. My father and grandfather were both connected to the trade before I was, but my own path into it started with curiosity, through my father's clients and the craftsmanship I encountered in Kolkata. I grew quietly obsessed with the material: how it's made, how it ages, why a well-made piece can outlive a decade of trends.

That curiosity never really left. Before leather, I spent years as a visual designer, and I still love playing with color and designing from a place of utility, figuring out not just how something should look, but how it should actually work in someone's hands. Every leather piece behaves differently, so no two designs come together the same way, and I still get a quiet thrill every time one finally comes to life.

What I enjoy most, though, is the conversation: hearing what someone's picturing and helping bring that vision into something real. There's also a deep love for Indian craftsmanship behind everything we make. The skill passed down through generations of artisans, the patience it takes, the way a piece carries the hand that made it. That's something I never want CAMO to lose sight of, no matter how far it travels.

I still believe the best things are made slowly, not quickly, and that belief is what the brand is built on, and what I hope to carry further, piece by piece, into the world.
